RULES

1) Each speaker has up to 5 minutes to speak.
2) Each speaker must arrive at 15h00 and check-in with the emcee at Boga      Legaba. Speakers who arrive late or fail to check in by 15h20 without prior notification are considered late and forfeit their spot. No exceptions.
3) ALL CANCELLATIONS TO BE MADE ASAP or at least by 24hrs in advance. IMPORTANT: If you cannot make your confirmed date you must call Thandi (not email) so your time can be given to another performer.
4) Speakers will be briefed by the emcee covering rules & guidelines for the evening’s performance.
5) Be ready to take the stage when you are called. Perform material that you are comfortable with.  If you don’t feel ready to perform, let us know, we want you to be at your best. There’s always next time.
6) BE CONSIDERATE OF THE OTHER PERFORMERS. Please be quiet and show respect for the speaker on stage.   Do not have private conversations while other speakers are on stage. APPLAUD FOR EVERYONE.   It provides encouragement and you’ll see how good it makes you feel when you perform.
7) Please stay for the performers after yourself. We all like to have an audience and it’s all about supporting one another. Encourage the people who have come to support you to do the same.
8) To maintain a positive environment and keep the fun going we do need to be mindful that we are located in a residential area.  No loud noise or music from cars parked on our lot.
9) Free expression is encouraged, but please don’t use obscene language as we wish to maintain a family friendly environment.
10) Let us know how many guests you want to invite and remind them to make a booking timeously as seats are limited.
STICK TO YOUR TIME.  You are responsible for knowing how long you have been on stage. The emcee will let you know when you have 1 minute of performance time left. You will have to leave the stage when your 5 minutes are over.

Come and enjoy yourself.
